1953 Ferrari 166 MM Spider goes up for auction

RM Sotheby’s first event of the year is fast approaching, taking place on the 7th February at the world-famous Rétromobile show. This prestige event is held at the historic Place Vauban in Paris city centre and is set to be a spectacular start to the 2018 European calendar.

The 2017 auction set new records for the Rétromobile exhibition week, with RM Sotheby’s achieving over €27m in gross sales. With an outstanding line up, will this year’s auction surpass 2017?

TT Transportation was delighted to be approached on behalf of RM Sotheby’s to provide transport for what is set to undoubtedly be one of the stars of the show at their Paris auction next month.

We were recently tasked with the transport and support for their stunning 1953 Ferrari 166 MM Spider. With an estimate of around €4m, RM Sotheby’s have really pulled out all the stops, bringing in professional photographers and videographers for pre-auction photographs and a short film to be produced for this spectacular vehicle. We’re really looking forward to the results of the auction of this fabulous car.
